Hi there! I’m Amy, and I’m so thankful you’re here and considering me as your stylist.

Just a little about me.....

 

I began my cosmetology journey in 2005, where I learned the foundations of haircutting and coloring. After graduating, I worked in a salon for a short time before stepping away to raise my four boys. In 2016, I returned to the salon world and quickly fell in love with balayage and lived-in color. Creating natural, low-maintenance color that grows out beautifully and makes everyday life easier for my clients has become one of my greatest passions.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to travel around the U.S. to learn from some of the most talented and respected artists in the industry. I continue to invest in both in-person and online education to keep growing, refining my skills, and staying current with techniques and trends. Ongoing education is incredibly important to me because I truly believe my clients deserve my very best!

Along the way, I’ve been humbled and honored to receive recognition, including six Behind the Chair #ONESHOT Award nominations, two Top Five MOB nominations, features in print magazines and online publications, and being named one of Modern Salon’s Top 100. I’m also part of the Modern Salon Artist Connective Team, which has been such a meaningful experience for me.

In 2018, my love for learning naturally grew into a love for teaching! I first trained with Salt Society and then later started teaching independent classes across the country. Teaching has been such a rewarding way to give back to the industry and share what others have so generously poured into me.

​

While I’m so grateful for these experiences, my heart will always be for the person sitting in my chair. The most meaningful part of my work is helping each one of my clients feel seen, cared for, and confident in hair that feels beautiful, effortless, and truly them.
