ABOUT AMY

Hi! I’m Amy, and I’m so thankful you’re here considering me as your stylist.

​

I started my cosmetology journey in 2005, learning the foundations of haircutting and coloring. After graduating in 2006, I worked in a salon for a short time before stepping away to raise my four boys, continuing to serve clients from home. In 2016, I returned to the salon world and found a true passion for balayage and lived-in color, creating natural, low-maintenance styles that grow out beautifully and make day-to-day life easier for my clients.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of traveling around the U.S. to learn from some of the most talented, nationally recognized artists in the industry. I still take regular in-person and online education to keep growing and stay up to date on techniques and trends. Learning will always be a priority for me because I believe my clients deserve the very best I can give!

I have been humbled and honored to receive recognition along the way, including 6 Behind the Chair #ONESHOT Award nominations, 2 Top Five MOB nominations, features in multiple print magazines and online publications, and being named one of Modern Salon’s Top 100. I am also part of the Modern Salon Artist Connective Team.

In 2018, my love for learning turned into a love for teaching. I first trained with Salt Society and later began teaching independent classes across the U.S., which has been such a rewarding way to give back to other stylists and share the knowledge others have so generously poured into me.

While I am proud of these experiences, my heart will always be for the person in my chair. The most meaningful part of my work is helping each client feel seen, cared for, and confident in hair that feels like them.
